- Living life in the Bubble outside Houston. I moved back to Texas after 35 years in California with my husband of 30 years, Tom. We sadly left our two grown sons in California -Paul and Spenser. We have our two Westies, Gus and Greta and cats Mango and Peanut to keep us busy. I am in sales by profession, while painting during my free time. I am also trying to learn more about Texas gardening.It is a challenge to figure out what will grow in the hard clay soil and hot temperatures of Southern Texas.
